One of my very best friends in the entire world is having a very bad week. Last Saturday I got a text message from my little sister as I was on my way up to Logan for a genealogy conference. Her “little sister” Lariann was in critical care at the U of U hospital and “it didn’t look good” at that moment my heart started breaking and I started praying. A little over two hours later, as I was on my way home, I got another text which broke my heart completely, Lari was gone. I started crying (luckily I wasn’t driving) and have cried off and on since receiving the news. There is nothing as hard as feeling completely helpless in a situation like this.
an eclectic smattering of the comings and goings of a vivacious, stunning, elegant, beautiful, witty, amazing, talented, brilliant, glamorous, distinguished, fabulous, pesky, cute, trendy, magnanimous and most recently--INDOMITABLE, 30-something-year-old woman as she explores the many splendored things offered by a very strange world.
