She's Here!!!

Baby "Matilda" (aka Natalie Kae) born 12:57pm. 7lbs 3 oz , 20 inches long. By all report (which here means, only coming from the proud Papa) a "Beatiful Baby Girl!!!! WOOOOOO-WHOOOOOOOOOO!"

Now we wait for the pictures!

Baby "Matilda" has STILL not arrived. I mean really, her mom went in at 7:15 this morning, you'd think she'd be done by now! ;)

Baby Chloe (Tobz's first niece) on the other hand, has arrived!

Talk About Weird

Today my brother "Z" becomes a daddy. I never in a million years imagined that he would grow up to be sombody's daddy, let alone the daddy of a little girl--a rough and tumble boy, maybe, but a dainty little girl, uh-uh...too wierd.

World Famous Face?

Last weekend we went to see Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 which happens to star America Ferrera the star of Ugly Betty. Several remarks were made about the great work the makeup guy (or gal) does to make Ms. Ferrara into Betty...because frankly Ms. Ferrara is quite a pretty young lady. I made the remark that I could relate to Betty on many levels, mainly I looked just like her in High School. Laughs followed.

Today I get this from Toby: a picture of Ugly Betty with a remark something to the effect of "Holy cow, Ugly Betty really does looks like the High School you!"

A little creepy isn't it? I know the girl in Exhibit B is not me but truly Ugly Betty because former child star Lindsay Lohan was not in my Gym class...at least not to my knowledge.

Conclusion: Turns out -- I was Ugly Betty! I'm starting to wonder if the producer, writer, or whoever on the Ugly Betty crew went to school with me...the resemblance is a no less than frightening. Fortunately for me and for Betty, neither of us really look like that...anymore.

Maybe I should look into getting royalties for the uncanny use of my image...

All By Myself!

With Toby in Philly I've been left to my own devices. In the past 14 hours I have been pretty productive: I went to work, was kind to mostly everyone and even ate lunch! After work I came home, pulled a row of weeds, washed the cookie sheets that have been in need of a washing for longer than I care to admit, took the cat outside for a much needed jaunt -- after 2 days of rain. Then I ate two minty brownies, a m&m cookie, (this after the several chocolatey treats at work...) only to discover my dinner was 700 more calories!!! WOW! This was only more shocking after studying "Module 1" of my Nutrition class. Now it's time for bed...it's a very exciting life.
